MG Motor India partnered with IIT Delhi

Current Context: MG Motor India has entered into a partnership agreement with IIT Delhi.

• MG Motor has collaborated with the Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART) of IIT Delhi.
• They have collaborated to conduct the research activities in the deployment of electric, connected and autonomous vehicles in urban areas of India.
• The partnership took place through the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT), IIT Delhi which aims to divert the focus of automakers on CASE mobility (Connected Autonomous Shared Electric. And for this, it supports research for the deployment of electric and autonomous vehicles.
• Under this partnership, the CART will conduct research activities in Electric Vehicles (EV).
• Both MG Motor and IIT Delhi will perform research in Battery operated EV, Hybrid EV, Alternate energy sources and autonomous and connected vehicles.
