Current Context: The Chandler Institute of Governance released the Chandler Good Government Index (CGGI).

Chandler Good Government Index

As per the index, India is ranked at 49th position among 104 nations.
The index is topped by Finland.
The second and third positions are marked by Switzerland and Singapore respectively.
The index ranking was calculated by considering 7 pillars: (a) Leadership and foresight (b) Strong institutions (c) Robust laws and policies (d) Attractive market place (e) Financial stewardship (f) Helping people rise (g) Global influence and reputation.
