  • As per the index, India is ranked at 49th position among 104 nations.
  • The index is topped by Finland.
  • The second and third positions are marked by Switzerland and Singapore respectively.
  • The index ranking was calculated by considering 7 pillars: (a) Leadership and foresight (b) Strong institutions (c) Robust laws and policies (d) Attractive market place (e) Financial stewardship (f) Helping people rise (g) Global influence and reputation.
