Current Context: The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh released the first instalment of Rs 671.45 crore of Jagananna Vidya Deevena for 2021-22.
Jagananna Vidya Deevena Scheme—Andhra Pradesh
  • Under this, CM reimbursed the academic fees of around 10.88 lakh students into the bank accounts of their mothers.
  • The scheme aims to grant scholarship to those students who are not able to pay their academic fees.
  • The scheme also helps those students who want to pursue higher education.
