Current Context: The World Bank Board of Executive Directors has approved the project for Mizoram.
Mizoram Health Systems Strengthening Project
  • The project is titled ‘Mizoram Health Systems Strengthening Project’.
  • The World Bank has approved the project for USD 32 million.
  • The project will help to strengthen the management capacity and quality of health services in the state.
  • The ‘Mizoram Health Systems Strengthening Project’ will grant quality certified health facilities, expert human resources, health insurance schemes and other innovations in the health sector.
  • The project will remove the gap which the community faces in opting for health benefits. In this regards, a cooperation with the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana will be developed under the project.
  • The project will ensure 100% delivery of quality health services to the community.
