Current Context: The Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) has launched ‘Sankalp se Siddhi’ - Village and Digital Connect Drive.
‘Sankalp Se Siddhi’—A Village and Digital Connect Drive
  • The objective of this drive is to activate the Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs) in the villages.
  • The drive will be held for 100 days and is comprised of 150 teams that will visit 10 villages. Total 100 villages in each region and 1500 villages in the country will be covered by the teams.
  • The teams will track the locations and will shortlist the Van Dhan Vikas Kendras for clustering as TRIFOOD, and SFURTI units as larger enterprises (The SFURTI is a scheme of MSME).
  • The teams will identify the tribal artisans and other groups and will frame them to work as a supplier to the larger markets through the Tribes India network.
  • They will also ensure the benefits of schemes reach the tribal community in an effective manner.
