• The second and third ranks are marked by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stanford University respectively.
• From Indian Institutes, the list is topped by IIM Ahmedabad. It is placed at world rank 415th.
• The IISc Bangalore is at 459th position and the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is at 543rd position.
• The parameters considered for rankings are: Quality of Education, Alumni Employment, Faculty Quality and Performance in Research.
