- In this regards, the ESA has announced to launch of the ‘EnVision’ mission.
- It will be launched by 2030.
- The ‘EnVision’ mission will help ESA to determine how and why Venus and the Earth evolve in a different manner, even though both of them are in a habitable zone to the Sun.
- The orbiter Envision will be loaded with a sounder that will study the underground layering of Venus. It will be also loaded with a spectrometer to study the atmosphere & surface of Venus, it will also monitor trace gases in the atmosphere.

Current Context: The European Space Agency (ESA) is planning to develop its own mission to study the planet Venus. The ESA wants to study the holistic view of Venus from its inner core to the upper atmosphere.
