- The MoU will lead to having the development of the Non-Scheduled/Scheduled operation of seaplane services in India.
- The development will take place under the RCS-UDAN (Regional Connectivity Scheme- Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) scheme of GOI.
- The MoU will also lead to developing new water aerodromes and the operationalization of new seaplane routes in the country.
- This will also boost tourism services and will impart eco-friendly transportation facilities in the country.
- The MoPSW will develop the waterfront infrastructure of the aerodrome and its locations. It will also obtain statutory clearance to start seaplane operations.
- The MoCA will grant funding support under RCS-UDAN Scheme.
