Current Context: The Union Bank of India signed MoU with National Small Industries Corporation Ltd (NSIC).

  • The MoU was signed to grant support to MSMEs through credit requirements.
  • The MoU was signed under the ‘NSIC Band Credit Facilitation Scheme’.
  • As a part of this MoU, the branch offices of NSIC which operate as a Finance Facilitation Centre (FFC) will support the MSME sector by offering them a loan from the Union Bank of India.
  • The NSIC Branch will provide support to the MSME unit by assisting them in completing all documentation as required for further submission to the Bank.
  • The MoU agreement was signed by PK Das, FGM-Delhi on behalf of the Union Bank of India and P R Kumar CGM, NSIC.
