- IIT Madras has partnered with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) to provide engineering knowledge support in transportation systems. The IIT Madras will work in areas of pavement engineering and intelligent transportation systems. In this regard, the ‘MoRTH Chair’ was created at IIT Madras to work in the areas like R&D, teaching and training in traffic and highway engineering. The chair professor will act as a strategic advisor to MoRTH in road transport and highways.
- The Faridabad Smart City Limited has roped in comic hero Chacha Chaudhary as their promotional character which will help to promote steps taken by them in the areas like installation of CCTVs for surveillance, traffic rules, road safety, and waste management. The promotion will take place through social media platform which will depict Chacha Chaudhary and Sabu and the content will guide people for effective usage of infrastructure which is developed by Faridabad Smart City Limited
- Defence India Startup Challenge (DISC) 5.0: It was launched by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The challenge was launched under the initiative of Innovations for Defence Excellence – Defence Innovation Organisation (iDEX-DIO). Under this DISC, GOI, services, think tank, startups and innovators can come together and work to develop strong, modern, self-reliant & well-equipped military equipment and technology
