Current Context: The IFFCO’s (Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited) R&D unit named Nano Biotechnology Research Centre (NBRC) signed MoU with IIT Delhi.
IFFCO’s NBRC signed MoU with IIT Delhi
  • The MoU was signed for Research Consultancy, Knowledge Transfer and Collaborative Projects.
  • Under the MoU, both the units will perform joint research activities.
  • The IIT Delhi and IFFCO-NBRC will offer support by sharing their research laboratories for research work and consultancies.
  • This MoU will prove beneficial for having research work in the Nanotechnology domain which will be useful in future.
  • The experts, engineers and scientists from IFFCO-NBRC will jointly work with the researchers of IIT Delhi to solve the problems associated with agriculture, environment by deploying the innovative solution.
  • Both the entities will work to create sustainable innovative solutions to reduce the input cost of agriculture, which will thus raise the income of farmers.
  • The experts from both the entities will work in the areas like Nanotechnology and Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Agriculture Technologies, Environmental Science and Technology, Rural Development, Data Science, Nano-bio interface.
