Current Context: The Meghalaya State Investment Promotion Society (MSIP) has signed MoU with Invest India to promote industries and trade activities in Meghalaya.
MSIP signed MoU with Invest India
  • Both entities will work to support investment opportunities in order to enhance trade activities in Meghalaya.
  • Under the MoU, Invest India will offer its support to plan and set up the global value chain.
  • This will boost the enterprise sector of the state. Both the entities will focus to attain the objective of one product one district programme.
  • In the 1st phase of the MoU, they will focus to promote startups dealing with products like Lakadong Turmeric, Eri Silk, Mushroom, Pineapple and Jackfruit.
