Byju’s partnered with NITI Aayog

Current Context: India’s major ed-tech startup, Byju’s has partnered with India’s think tank NITI Aayog.

• They have partnered to grant free access to tech-driven learning programs for students in 112 aspirational districts of India.
• Under the partnership, two major modules will be covered namely Byju’s Career-Plus program and a volunteer initiative for the school-going children.
• In Byju’s Career-Plus program, the Aakash Institute and Byju’s will grant free classes to 3000 merit students from classes 11 and 12. This program will prepare students for entrance exams of medical and engineering field like NEET and JEE respectively.
• In the volunteer initiative, free coaching classes will be given to the students from classes 6 to 12 through Byju’s learning platform and an app for the period of 3 years.
