- The poll was titled ‘Asia’s Outstanding Companies Poll’ and it aims to acknowledge those companies who have shown their excellence in various domains like financial performance, management team, excellence, investor relations, and CSR initiatives.
- The poll also acknowledges publicly listed companies in 2 categories of country and sector in which it operates.
- The voting was made by around 1070 fund managers, analysts, bankers, and rating agencies.
- As per the voting results, HDFC Bank received the most number of votes among listed companies in India and was termed as ‘Overall Most Outstanding Company in India’.
- This recognition is in addition to the ‘Most Outstanding Company in India – Banking Sector’, through which the bank was honoured for the 4th consecutive year since the commencement of the poll from 2018.
- Therefore the bank gained two major recognition from the Asiamoney poll i.e. ‘Overall Most Outstanding Company in India’ and ‘Most Outstanding Company in India – Banking Sector’.
