Current Context: India and the United States signed two MoUs at the concluding session of the 4th Indo-US Health Dialogue.

  • The closing session was addressed by Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandaviya.
  • One of the MoU was signed to enhance cooperation Health and Biomedical sciences sector.
  • The second MoU was signed to enhance cooperation with International Centre for Excellence in Research (ICER).
  • The MoU of Health and Biomedical Sciences has signed the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of India and the Department of Health and Human Services of the USA.
  • The MoU to enhance cooperation with ICER was signed between the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) & the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID).
  • Both the MoUs will help to enhance health cooperation between India and the US.
