Current Context: A Balasubramanian: He was appointed as the new Chairman of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI). He has replaced Nilesh Shah, who is the MD of Kotak Mutual Fund. Radhika Gupta, the MD, and CEO of Edelweiss AMC were appointed as vice-chairperson of AMFI.
