FIFA Football for School (F4S) Programme

Current Context: The Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik has launched the ‘FIFA Football for School (F4S) Programme’ which is the world’s first every program.

• It was launched at the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Bhubaneswar.
• The aim of the program is to integrate and unite the football sport with education.
• The fun football sessions for school-going children will be delivered under the program.
• The program will be implemented by the Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) and the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS).
• It will be run by FIFA as it aims to empower over 700 million children across the world with football sports training.
