Current Context: India and Israel signed bilateral innovation agreements to perform innovation and enhance R&D activities by startups and MSMEs of both countries.
India and Israel signed Bilateral Innovation Agreement
  • Under the agreement, both countries will develop dual-use technologies.
  • The agreement was signed between India's Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Israel's Directorate of Defence Research and Development (DDR&D).
  • Under the agreement, the startups and MSMEs of both nations will develop dual-use technologies products for the areas like drones, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), quantum technology, photonics, biosensing, brain-machine interface, energy storage, wearable devices, natural language processing, etc.
