- Around 21 indicators were considered to rank the states and UTs.
- The report was released by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal.
- Winners in the states category: Gujarat (1st), Haryana (2nd), Punjab (3rd).
- Winners in NE states and Himalayan UTs category: Jammu and Kashmir (1st), Sikkim (2nd), Meghalaya (3rd).
