- In this regard, the meeting was held at Pakke Tiger Reserve, where the ‘Pakke Declaration’ was adopted.
- The declaration will work to focus on having low emission and development of climate-resilient culture on the basis of 5 major themes or Panch Dharas.
- The Panch Dharas are: (a) Environment, forest, and climate change (b) Health and well-being (c)Sustainable and adaptive living (d) Livelihood and opportunities (e) Evidence generation and collaborative action
- It will help to lower the emission and attain sustainable development in the state.
