- The Tejaswini Scheme was launched under Mission Youth and will be implemented by J&K Bank.
- The Hausla Scheme is by J&K Trade Promotion Organisation. Both the schemes are launched for women's empowerment.
- Also, two other schemes namely Shikhar Scheme, Shikara Scheme were launched by Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
- The Shikhar and Shikara Scheme will be implemented by Punjab National Bank (PNB) for the development of tourism in J&K.
- ‘Tejasvini Scheme’: The scheme will provide financial support upto Rs 5 lakh to young women so that they can set up their ventures and become self-employed. The focus will be on girls between 18-35 years.
- ‘Hausla Scheme’: It was launched under J&K Trade Promotion Organisation. It aims to empower, motivate existing women entrepreneurs so that they will become role models in their respective sectors. The scheme will offer skill development, credit support, marketing support, and mentorship guidance.
- ‘Shikhar & Shikara Schemes’: The Shikhar scheme focus on meeting credit requirements up to Rs. 2 crores for the hotel, tour & tourism industry. The Shikhara scheme aims to offer credit support to purchase shikara, restore and maintain shikara and houseboats. For this, the collateral-free term loans with repayment option of EMI in 7 years will be granted. The Shikhara scheme will offer credit support upto Rs. 15 lakh to purchase or repair Shikaras.
