‘Dhan Rekha’- Individual Savings Life Insurance Plan

Current Context: The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has launched an individual savings life insurance plan with the name ‘Dhan Rekha’.

• It is the new non-linked, non-participating individual savings life insurance plan.
• It offers special premium rates for female lives.
• It is also launched for the third gender by adding that all benefits under the plan.
• The benefits offered under the plan are fully guaranteed.
• The minimum sum assured under Dhan Rekha’ insurance plan is Rs 2 lakh and there is no upper limit on the maximum sum assured.
• The age group who can avail of the plan should be in the range of 90 days to 8 years. And the maximum age at the entrance should be in the range of 35 to 55 years.
• Loan facility is also granted under this plan.
