- It will be launched on 25th Dec 2021 as it is the birth anniversary of senior BJP leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
- Under the scheme, the state government will distribute smartphones and tablets to the students studying in the final year of graduation and above.
- Around, 60,000 smartphones and 40,000 tablets to the youths will be distributed.
- To avail of the benefit of the scheme, more than 38 lakh youths have registered themselves on Digi Shakti Portal.
- To avail of the benefit of the scheme, the candidate must be a student, resident of the state, and must have secured 60% and above.
- Preference will be given to the youths studying in the final year of MA, BA, BSc, ITI, MBBS, MD, BTech, and MTech.
- The annual income of the family must be less than 2 lakh per annum.
