- During the first phase, 72,000 young talents from rebel-hit districts will be given training in particular sports.
- The scheme is launched in West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Khunti, Gumla, and Simdega districts which are termed rebel-hit districts.
- Candidates in the age group of 14-19 years old will be registered under the scheme.
- Sports nursery will also be set up under the scheme.
