Current Context: The Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik launched the ‘Mukhyamantri Vayu Swasthya Seva’ Scheme.

• The ‘Mukhyamantri Vayu Swasthya Seva’ means ‘Chief Minister’s Air Health Service’.
• It was launched from Biju Patnaik International Airport of the state.
• Under the scheme, districts like Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, and Kalahandi will be able to avail better healthcare services.
• Qualified doctors will fly to these areas as per the pre-arranged schedule to offer treatment to the tribal community.
• People suffering from cardiovascular, neurological, kidney, and bladder problems will receive proper treatment due to this scheme.
• The cost of all the treatment and other execution of the scheme will be handled by the state government.
