‘Apna Kangra’ App-- Himachal Pradesh

Current Context: The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Jai Ram Thakur launched the ‘Apna Kangra’ app.

• The app was launched to grant a hassle-free experience to the tourists and enhance the sale of local handicrafts.
• Therefore, the app will serve the tourist as well as serve as an e-marketing platform for SHG products of the state.
• It will also help to empower rural women, youth in the tourism, hospitality sector.
• The CM also virtually inaugurated Radhe Krishna Cow Sanctuary at Luthan in the Jawalamukhi Vidhan Sabha area of Kangra.
