Current Context: VS Pathania: He was appointed as 24th Director General (DG) of the Indian Coast Guard. He has replaced Krishnaswamy Natarajan who retired from the post.

• S Sahoo: He was appointed as panel head of the primary market advisory committee on data setup by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India). The previous panel committee was headed by Madhabi Puri Buch.
• Tarun Kapoor: He was appointed to head the Energy Transition Advisory Committee (ETAC) set up by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
