‘Grama One’ Launched in Karnataka

Current Context: The CM of Karnataka, Basavaraj Bommai launched ‘Grama One’ from Bengaluru.

• The ‘Grama One’ aims to offer all the government services under one roof in rural parts of the state it was launched for 12 districts of Karnataka.
• Around 100 government services will be granted under ‘Grama One’.
• The ‘Grama One’ is the technology-based service that will offer services framed by departments like agriculture, women and child development, revenue, horticulture, etc.
• It aims to remove the role of middlemen to offer the service to the rural people.
• The ‘Grama One’ will ensure that appropriate services are granted to the rural people in a timely manner.
