  • India was ranked at 83rd position in the index among 111 countries.
  • Henley Passport Index 2022: India Ranks 83rd in Q1.
  • As per the report, India’s passport has visa-free access to 60 destinations across the world in Q1 2022. It has free access to 58 destinations in Q4 of 2021.
  • Japan and Singapore have emerged as the world’s most powerful passports in 2022. Their passports holders are allowed to travel visa-free to 192 countries.
  • The least position was marked by Afghanistan with a visa-free score of 26.
