MoU signed between Odisha Gov. and GAIL
  • The MoU was signed to develop cooperation in the production of eco-friendly fuels in the state.
  • The MoU agreement was signed by the public sector unit and the Industrial Promotion and Investment Corporation of Odisha (Ipicol).
  • Under the MoU, the study related to setting up plants in areas of green hydrogen, green ammonia, and renewable energy like solar and wind will take place between the associated entities.
  • The partnership will help the industries in the state as they will be supported in growing power requirements.
  • Due to the green hydrogen, aggregate emissions of greenhouse gases will be cut down by the industries.
