- India’s 1st commercial-scale biomass-based hydrogen plant will be established at the Khandwa district in Madhya Pradesh. The plant will produce one tonne of hydrogen, from 30 tonnes of biomass feedstock in one day. It will be set up by a joint venture of Watomo Energies Ltd and Biezel Green Energy. The funds of Rs 24 crore will be utilized for the same.
- Cyber Sachet insurance Policy: It was launched by HDFC Ergo General Insurance Company. It will help to tackle and mitigate cybercrimes and digital risks for individual customers and grant them internet insurance. It will offer financial protection from various kinds of risks in the digital world.
- RBI has become 2nd largest buyer of Gold. It has bought 77.5 metric tonnes taking its total gold reserve to 754.1 tonnes at the end of December 2021. The largest buyer is the Central Bank of Thailand which bought 90 metric tonnes of gold.
- India has become the 5th largest exporter of millets in the world. The data for the same was released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
