Current Context: A two-day international conference titled ‘Devayatanam – An odyssey of Indian temple architecture’ was held at Hampi, Karnataka.

• It was organized by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) of the Ministry of Culture.
• It was inaugurated by Union Minister for Culture, Tourism, and DoNER, G Kishan Reddy.
• The conference was held to have discussions on philosophical, religious, social, economic, technical, scientific, art, and architectural aspects of the temple.
