Fintech Open Summit

Current Context: The ‘Fintech Open’ Summit is being organized by NITI Aayog in partnership with PhonePe, AWS (Amazon Web Services), and EY.

• It is the three-week-long virtual summit that is being held from 7th Feb to 28th Feb 2022.
• It was inaugurated by Union Minister for Railways, Communications, and Electronics and IT Ashwini Vaishnaw in the presence of NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Dr. Rajiv Kumar.
• This is the first-of-its-kind initiative and it will bring together regulators, fintech professionals, enthusiasts, industry leaders, and various startups to discuss and exchange views on various topics.
• The summit will also lead to have the emergence of new innovative ideas for the welfare in various sectors and solve real-world problems.
