Current Context: The Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. (IREDA) signed MoU with Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL).

• The MoU was signed to offer technical and financial expertise in developing rooftop solar power projects.
• The assistance will be provided by IREDA to GSL. It will provide techno-commercial expertise solutions.
• Due to the rooftop solar power project, there will be a reduction in the expenditure of electricity and a reduction in carbon footprint.
