‘Matrushakti Udaymita Scheme’-- Haryana

Current Context: The Haryana government launched the ‘Matrushakti Udaymita Scheme’.

• Under the scheme, support will be provided to the women entrepreneurs.
• The women whose family annual income is less than 5 lakh rupees as per the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) verified data will have the benefit of the scheme.
• So, women can get access to soft loans by financial institutions to the extent of 3 lakh rupees.
• The interest subvention of 7% will be provided for the period of 3 years.
• The scheme will be executed through the Haryana Women Development Corporation.
• So, the women who want to become an entrepreneur can opt for the scheme.
