Current Context: Union Minister Anurag Thakur launched Broadcast Seva Portal in New Delhi.

• This portal will bring Transparency, accountability, and Responsiveness to the broadcasting ecosystem and hence improve “Ease of doing business”.
• It will provide end-to-end solutions to Satellite TV channels, Teleport operators, Multi-service operators, Community Radio Stations (CRS), Private FM Channels, and others.
• It will enable speedy filing and processing of applications of broadcasters for various kinds of licenses, permissions, registrations, etc.

• Integration with E-office and Stakeholder ministries
• Integrated helpdesk
• Application and status tracking feature
