Waterways Conclave 2022

Current Context: Ministry of Ports, shipping and Waterways and Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) is organizing Waterways Conclave 2022.

• It will be conducted in Dibrugarh, Assam from 11-12th April.
• IT aims for speedy development of Multimodal projects in North-eastern region.
• FICCI will be the industry partner of the 2-day conclave.
• The conclave will be addressed by Mr. Sarbananda Sonowal (Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways), Mr. Nitin Gadkari (Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways), and Mr. Himanta biswa Sarma. (CM of Assam)
