    • RBI cancels the certificate of registration of Kanva shree credit private limited, Williamson magor, and co.Ltd, Galaxy capital finance and SRS finance Ltd. RBI canceled the certificate of registration in the exercise of the power conferred on it under Section 45- IA (6) of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934.
    • Nomura cuts India’s growth forecast for 2023 to 4.7% from earlier predicted 5.4%.
    • Star Health and allied insurance co.Ltd has partnered with the Common service center (CSC) under the ministry of electronics and information technology to provide over 5 lakh CSCs access to a selected range of products of star health insurance.
    • SBICAP Ventures Limited (SVL), a subsidiary of the State Bank of India (SBI) signed an MoU with the Ministry of External Affairs for establishing the Trilateral Development Cooperation Fund (TDC Fund) for joint projects with global partners.
    • India's retail inflation based on the consumer price index (CPI) stood at 7.01% in June.

  • State News:
    • The Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari said that the Dwarka Expressway, which will be India’s first elevated urban expressway, will be operational by 2023.
    • Lt Governor of Delhi V K Saxena launched an incentive scheme for resident welfare associations to ensure property tax compliance and waste management in the city. Under the SAH-BHAGITA scheme, RWAs (Resident Welfare Associations) will get 15 percent of the total collection of property tax for development works in their areas.

    • The Government of Japan has announced the conferment of the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star on Narayanan Kumar, vice chairman of Sanmar Group.
