Gift City and Fintech signs MoU

Current Context: Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (Gift City) inked an agreement with the Fintech Association of Japan.

• It is done to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the fintech domain.
• The memorandum is signed for conducting programs related to international financial services.
• It will also promote GIFT City as a fintech hub in India.
• It will also expose young innovators in the fintech domain to different opportunities in India and Japan.
• Several boot camps, hackathons, incubation, and acceleration programs will be conducted.
• Static part- GIFT City was conceptualized in 2008.
