- The Government of India approved Uttar Pradesh’s Ranipur Tiger Reserve to be the 53rd Tiger Reserve of India. The Ranipur Tiger Reserve is spread across a 529.36 sq km area. It will be the 4th Tiger Reserve of UP.
- The Deputy Commissioner Doda, Vishesh Paul Mahajan, and SSP Doda, Abdul Qayoom inaugurated the Chenab White Water Rafting Festival in Doda district, Jammu and Kashmir. Around 2000 people participated in this event.
