- National News:
- The National Suicide Prevention Strategy was introduced by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW). It was launched to achieve a 10% reduction in suicide mortality by 2030.
- The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) asked the state governments and other stakeholders to verify Aadhar before accepting it as identity (ID) proof.
- The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoH&FW) discontinued the provision of uploading self-declaration forms on the Air Suvidha portal. The self-declaration was made mandatory in August 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
