- National News:
- The Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Giriraj Singh, launched the “Nai Chetna- Pahal Badlav Ki” campaign against gender-based discrimination. The theme for the campaign is “Elimination of Gender-Based Violence”.
- A committee was formed under the Ministry of Rural Development for revamping Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Programme (MGNREGA). The committee is expected to submit its report by Jan 2023.
