  • National News:
    • According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), India invited Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi as the Chief Guest on Republic Day 2023.
    • The Food Safety and Standard Authority of India (FSSAI) approved the Himalayan Yak as a “food animal” to check the decline in the population of the high-altitude bovine animal.
    • The 59th Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) General Assembly began in New Delhi. It is being hosted by Prasar Bharati.
    • The Continuous Marine Water Quality Monitoring Station (CMWQMS) was inaugurated by the Chairperson of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), Sanjay Sethi.
