  • National News:
    • The Union Minister of Minority Affairs, Smriti Zubin Irani, informed that the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Ko Kaam Karyakram (PMKKK) was renamed as the Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan (PM VIKAS) Scheme.
    • The Union Law Minister, Kiren Rijiju, said that the exercise to link Aadhar Card with the Election Photo Identity Card (EPIC) was “voluntary”.
    • The Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog and the UNDP India jointly launched the 5th edition of Youth Co: Lab.
    • India successfully carried out the night trials of the Agni-5 nuclear-capable ballistic missile from the APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the Odisha coast. The missile has a range of 5000 km and is crucial for India's self-defence systems.
    • India received the final (36th) Rafael Aircraft from France’s Dassault Aviation, equipped with all 13 India-specific enhancements.
