Environment: Dharti Agro chemicals Private Limited launches, World’s 1st Genetic Make Sterility based Cowpea (Lobia) Hybrids. They have already released 3 hybrids in cowpea. This is done to improve the harvest besides climate change, rising human population, and loss of arable land.

Acquisitions: Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) has increased its ownership stakes from 5% to 7% in the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation(IRCTC). LIC has nearly bought Rs. 1.81 crore shares from IRCTC. IRCTC is an e-railway ticket booking platform.

Important Day: International Human Solidarity Day 2022 was observed to remove poverty and remind all country's Governments about their responsibility under International Agreements. Since 2006, Every year 20th December is observed as International Human Solidarity Day 2022. This day is adopted by the United Nation.
