- International Affairs: Shanghai Cooperation Organization Interbank Consortium (SCO-IBC) conducted its 19th Meeting in New Delhi. India is the President of SCO-IBC. SCO IBC will be led by India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) under Pawan Kumar, Managing Director of IIFCL. This meeting is held to improve investment projects in SCO member countries.
- Banking and Finance: Karnataka Bank has made online facilities to pay customs duty through Indian Customs Electronic Gateway (ICEGATES). This is the national gateway of Indian Customs of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs. Both individual and corporate customers can pay their customs duty through this.
- Reserve Bank of India has given in-principle authorization to Worldline ePayment. It is a Payment Aggregator (PA) and this is provided under the Guidelines on Regulation of Payment Aggregators and Payment Gateway, March 17, 2020.
