  • National News:
    • In order to boost the ease of doing business, the Government of India exempted the Indian Space and Research Organization (ISRO) from taking approval from the Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization (PESO) for the manufacturing, use, storage, and transportation of solid propellants for space rockets.
    • India provided financial assistance of USD 100 million to the Maldives to ease its economic challenges. The ceremony was attended by the Finance Minister of Maldives, Ibrahim Ameer, and the Minister of External Affairs, S Jaishankar.
    • The 41st edition of the 14-day India International Trade Fair (IITF) culminated at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The theme of the IITF was “Vocal for Local, Local to Global”.
    • The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) signed the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) with six engineering institutes viz. IIT-BHU, IIT-Madras, IIT-Indore, IIT-Patna, NIT-Trichy, and MNIT-Jaipur, for establishing “BIS Standardization Chair Professor” at these institutes.
    • The 23rd Hornbill Festival began at Naga Heritage Village of Kisama. It is a 10-day festival (01 December- 10 December) to encourage inter-tribal collaboration and promote the state's rich cultural heritage. It was inaugurated by the Vice-President of India, Jagdeep Dhankar.
    • The Railway Delivery Group (RDG) selected Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to design, develop, and operate the Railway Data Marketplace (RDM) of the United Kingdom (UK) for a term of 6 years.

    • The World Bank released its 37th Migration and Development Brief 2022 titled, “Remittances Brave Global Headwinds, Special Focus: Climate Migration”. The report suggested that India will receive an annual remittance of USD 100 billion in 2022.
    • China launched a spacecraft, Shenzhou-15, carrying three astronauts, to the Tiangong Space Station. It was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre.
