  • In June of this year, Bangladesh would receive diesel on a trial basis via the India-Bangladesh Friendship Pipeline (IBFPL). A pipeline measuring about 131.5 kilometers long has been built to import Indian diesel.

  • In order to significantly increase the endurance of the Scorpene-class conventional submarines used by the Indian Navy, the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and Naval Group France have signed a contract. The Indian Naval Ship (INS) Kalvari will soon be outfitted with the fuel cell-based Air Independent Propulsion (AIP) system.

    • In April 2023, the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE) of the European Space Agency will be launched from the spaceport of the organization in French Guiana. Goal: Investigate the massive, icy planets that Jupiter, Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa orbit.
    • India is one of the top 3 nations in the world where the total area under organic agriculture increased the most in 2020, according to the report "The World of Organic Agriculture Statistics & Emerging Trends 2022" by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL & IFOAM - Organics International (previously known as the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements).

    • For a period of five years beginning on March 1, 2023, Professor Bharat Bhasker will lead the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA).
