  • The project is being set up by two entrepreneurs under the banner of Redlemon Technologies.
  • Compressed biogas is a renewable and eco-friendly fuel that can be used as a substitute for natural gas. It is produced by anaerobic digestion of organic waste such as agricultural residue, cattle dung, municipal solid waste, etc. The biogas is then purified and compressed to increase its energy density and make it suitable for transportation and storage
  • The compressed biogas plant in Assam will use organic waste from nearby areas as raw material and produce biogas that can be used for cooking, heating, power generation, or as vehicle fuel. The plant will also produce organic manure as a by-product that can be used as fertilizer
