BEL signs MoU with ADA for AMCA programme

Current Context: Bharat Electronics has signed an MoU with Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), DRDO, for the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) programme. The AMCA is a 5th generation, multi-role fighter aircraft designed with stealth capability. The MoU aims at co-operating for the design, development and supply of various components for AMCA.

• The MoU was announced on 21st February 2023 at Aero India 2023.
• The MoU covers various components for AMCA such as Internal Weapon Bay Computer, Line Replaceable Units, Communication System etc.
• The MoU also provides lifetime product support to the Indian Air Force
